Mega Bite Fishing Charters have many packages available. For applications, morning and noon is the best time to go out because that is when the trout are the most active. Night fishing is better farther in the season. As for the tourism side, Mega Bite Fishing Charters have multiple boats to take out for trips. Mega Bite’s boats are huge with big cabins, perfect for any outing you want to plan.
Working in conjunction with Sport Fish Michigan, we will be offering select dates in late April and May during the peak of the annual Detroit River walleye run. Sport Fish Michigan specifically chooses dates each year to coincide with when they feel the best opportunities are to catch limits of walleyes coming in from Lake Erie. We are proud to partner with Sport Fish Michigan to offer these trips to you during the best times. Morning and afternoon trips are available, and all of the tackle and gear necessary will be provided for you. Sport Fish Michigan only uses G. Loomis rods paired with Shimano reels, and guides out of DNR-inspected Ranger boats outfitted with the best equipment available.
